V2 has become unusable
V2 has become unusable
I need help desperately I bought a V2 on July 29th 2021 so very new but haven't been able to use it for about a week cause the screen is blank. If I leave it turned on it is still showing that it is recording but I can't get into anything to watch or record something new. I have turned it off at the back of the machine and have tried to restart it but it only shows the program for a split second so not enough time to do anything.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME

Re: V2 has become unusable
It seems that you may have changed the V2's video output to something that your TV doesn't handle.
Start it up again, wait for the loading to finish (for REC or the time to display on the front panel), then use the TV-OUT button on the remote to change the TV output resolution.
After each press of TV-OUT wait about 5 seconds to give the TV a chance to recognise the new setting and start displaying it.
If that gives you usable video on the TV, then go to MENU>Setup>AV setup>AV settings, and set Video output to HDMI, Automatic resolution to "off" and Mode to 1080p (these are the default settings). If your TV can't handle 1080p (Full HD), then set it to something that the TV can handle, like 1080i or 720p.
If your V2 was recording something when you switched it off at the back, it will resume recording it when it's turned back on if the recording hasn't finished (that's probably what you'd want if there was a power outage while it was recording).

Re: V2 has become unusable
Does it still show "REC" on the front panel?
When it's running, do you see the information bar at the bottom of the screen when it should be in live TV and you press OK?

Re: V2 has become unusable
Does anything happen on the TV when you press the front power button?
Have you tried a different HDMI cable, or a different HDMI input into the TV?
Do you have the V2 connected to your home network?
