Network choice?
I did a scan of available networks today and was surprised to find 3 listed.
The middle one appears to be my V2. As for the other 2 I'm uncertain as to whether or not they should be there at all.
The first one displayed gives the name of my my router and the 3rd I think is reffering to my PC which I hoped to get set up so that I can play what's on my PC.
What should be my next step?

Giving some more detail about what you mean by:

Detail like what device you did the scan on, and just how you did the scan.

Or screenshots, if you can't put it into words or don't know the correct jargon.

Re: Network choice?
After an extremely long time I finally got back to this question.
The 3 items that I can see are my rooter,my V2 and my PC.
I have a CAT5 cable running from PC to living room switch which gives me an Ethernet connection that always tests over 55.
I also have a few screen shots which might help you see whats necessary for V2 to correctly network from my PC in both directions.
Thanks in advance

Re: Network choice?
What are you hoping to do?
The first three screenshots have nothing to do with your ability to use OpenWebif to allow your PC to access the Beyonwix.
There shouldn't be any need to change the default configuration of OpenWebif (5th screenshot) in order to use it.

Re: Network choice?
I am hoping to be able to get my V2 able to access data held on my PC.
I used to be able take a recording from my V2 and open it on the PC using VideoReDo,edit it or knock out the adds and save it.
But now it seems that VideoReDo like Beyonwiz is in limbo and no one knows if or when it might recover. Both companies had lots of customers wanting there goods but can't get them. It seems a terrible waste.

That sounds more like you wanting to access data that's on your V2 from your PC. In that case, you need to use the PC access the Windows network shares offered by the V2. That's done from he PC, not from the V2, and you do it in the same sort of way that your PC would access Windows shares offered by any other device.
