Got a message form Ice TV saying that the T3 was not talking to the server... stuffed around with the new ICE tv access... but in the end the message from the T3 was that it could not connect to the Ice server... connected via telnet to the T3 from a dos box on the network.. TS could see local machines (arp -a) , but could not ping beyond the router ! The telneted from the T3 to a unix box which could happily ping beyond the router... T3 no go ! Checked network settings on the T3 and tried a network test.. it failed ! WTF... I can login on the T3 using telnet, but the T3 syas the network is not working. Did a factory reset and during the network setup, says the network failed the test ! WFT... ran the latest update and all good !!!
Not sure what caused the hiccup.... 7-8 blackousts in 2 days perhaps!
T3 has lost the network

Push to test... Release to detonate

Re: T3 has lost the network
If the T3 filesystem is corrupt, then a factory reset is unlikely to help at all. You need to reload a fresh copy of the firmware from USB.
The T3 hardware seen ok since you can still telnet into it.
What is the T3's gateway address and subnet mask?
Can you ping the gateway address from the T3 command line?
Can you ping an internet address by its IP rather than by its DNS name?
