Beyonwiz to purchase IceTV guide (suggestion)

Post by michal » Tue Oct 13, 2015 19:19

How about Beyonwiz purchasing the IceTV guide? Is it something that would make sense as an additional income stream and a product differentiator?

Monthly subscription so that it only runs while it's economical. I guess it just depends on how much that portion of the company and infrastructure costs and whether Beyonwiz has ANY interest.

With the creditors meeting on Friday, I suspect it would be hard to put things together in time even if there was a willing buyer (which there appeared to be anyway) and staff available with the skills to keep it running (which there didn't seem to be, at least not for that buyer).

Without the staff then a potential buyer would have to workout themselves how to deliver the service. There's always the option that a potential buyer could just set up the same service anyway as the main competitor is now gone. All they would need to do is read the forums to find out the interest and what people are willing to spend ($8 is probably too much).
