I had the exact same problem with firmware 1.07.0414. I then reverted to the .301 firmware and have not had the problem since. It seems that's a bug in firmware 1.07.0414.

I've had my DP-P2 for about 5 months now and it's been very good with the .301.

I'd recommend going back to the older firmware.

Latest firmware. Playing back a recorded TV show and the picture froze with the unit locked up. Had to turn it on and off again. I've not seen this before and I haven't seen it do this on previous firmware.

HDMI from BeyonWiz into the Samsung LCD. Then that is fed via RCA analog pair to an amp.

Other analog outputs from the Beyonwiz don't exhibit this problem so it's an HDMI issue.
