Does the WIZTV Smart HDMI Dongle also Replce the Network WiFi Dongle

G/Afternoon Just like my subject title asks does the WizTV Smart HDMI Dongle also replace the BWiz WiFi Dongle, I realise the WiFi Dongle can not do the same things as the WizTV smart HDMI Dongle, but will it also replace the WiFi Dongle rather than having two Dongles using up 2 USB ports

I also have a Portable Logitech Set-point WiFi Keyboard will that be compatible Regards Dazzler_1

No.

It has its own WiFi network connection (and wired Ethernet), but neither of those are accessible from the Beyonwiz. The only connection between the WizTV dongle and the Beyonwiz is the HDMI connector.

It doesn't need to be connected to the Beyonwiz, at all if you don't want to record from it. We had it running connected to out Sony HT system instead.

We now do all our streaming direct from our TV.

Thank Peter As usual I took the difficult path, so will any Smart HDMI Dongle be satisfactory if I am going to use it on the TV or should I only use Beyonwiz my daughter was telling something about that' now we know thanks Peter Regards Dazzler_1

If you only want to use the streaming dongle on the TV, any one that will work with the TV will do.

A number of forum folk use Chromecast, so there would be some informal user support for that here. I know next to nothing about the up- and down-sides of the various streaming dongles that are available.
