I have an oldish digital camera (bought 2009) that only takes SDHC cards. The camera currently has an SDHC 16GB card, and it looks like SDHC can go up to 32GB.
From my reading of the Wikipedia page on SD cards, larger capacity SDXC cards might work, but the camera would only be able to use 32GB of the space on the card.
Should I get a couple of 16 or 32GB SDHC cards for the future before they become too difficult to find? When I went to Officeworks a couple of weeks ago, it looked like they had their Sandisk SDHC 32GB microSD cards in remainders bins.

Re: SD card compatability
Hi Prl,
There are still a lot of devices out there with the 32GB limit. I would be surprised if 32GB cards went away that fast.
Still, if they are cheap or on sale you may as well grab a few spares.
Regards,
Ian.
