I had lost my ability to see the shares on a Windows 10 PC, this occurred on a DP-P2 and a DP-P1, I tried 2 PCs and and 1 Laptop.
A Tech friend of mine put me onto the following link.

Once I followed the instructions the problem was resolved. (The second part was a bit ambiguous, Clicking on the plus sign open up 3 items which I ticked all 3)
This issue has occurred twice, each time it has occurred after a Windows 10 Update (It must restore the setting back to defaults).

Yep. Windows will continue to disable the older and less secure versions of the SMB protocol.
The DP series will not see any update to support the later and more secure versions, so you will continue to have to make those changes.
The T (except the T3), U and V series support mounts using later SMB versions.
