Web interface plugin - restart GUI loop. (autotimers!!)

Hi

I'm on a quest to be able to set autotimers from either a web interface or an ios app. (We mostly access the t3 from networked devices and rarely turn on the projector it's plugged in to).

The Open Webif interface doesn't give access to them when logging in from a web browser.

XBMC on a mac is a great front end, but no autotimers

The ios app E2remotepro works well for accessing the T3 from an iPad or iPhone. It mostly uses Open Webif. But to be able to set autotimers the (from ze German translated) FAQs seem to indicate the T3 needs the Web Interface plugin (not OpenWebIf) to work.

I've tried installing it on the T3 but It causes an endless "restartingGUI" loop. The specific plugin I've been trying is:
enigma2-plugin-extensions-webinterface Version :2.0+git6+bf9bc41036-r5.1

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot/fix this? (Or am I going to have to wait for Icetv to be functioning?)
