Re: Video "Power Button Options"
So this video has been here for over 2 years and nobody has ever commented at all?
Not even to say that it is almost ABSOLUTELY USELESS!?!
Simply reading out what appears on-screen is not helpful at all.
How about some information about what state the various power down levels represent?
Rather importantly, from which state will my machine wake up and execute a timer recording, and, probably more importantly, from which state will it not?

The T series has 4 power states :-How about some information about what state the various power down levels represent?

- On - Fully functioning.
- Standby - Video output disabled, everything else functioning.
- Deep Standby - Only front panel/timer board active.
- Unplugged from the wall - Duh!
The Unplugged state needs the optional robotic hand option.

Re: Video "Power Button Options"
If you're using IceTV, the T series needs to be in either On or Standby state to get IceTV updates. Often just your normal recording schedule will be enough to keep IceTV updated if the PVR is kept in Deep Standby when not in use.
And to further confuse things, the "Deep Standby" state is also often "Shutdown" both in the firmware GUI and in forum discussion.

Re: Video "Power Button Options"
How can I tell if my T4 is turned off at the power plug or in the deep standby/shutdown mode? On my machine the front panel has no indicator shown when in either state. I seem to recall that in the deep standby/shutdown mode the blue light stayed on but this is no longer the case since I installed the latest beta software 20170729035922.

The front panel power LED is on when I put my test T4 into standby. Firmware 20170729035922. You may need to seek another cause.
