Re-scanning channels
Re-scanning channels
This video demonstrates how to rescan your TV channels without the need to do a factory reset.
This will fix any recent viewing issues with the newly launched SBS World Movies channel but will also work for any new channels or changes that might come along.

Re: Re-scanning channels
Hi
Thanks I've done a re-scan and got SBS World Movies but I have lost my HDMI IN choice from my list of channels. I usually have this as my default position when the Beyonwiz U4 comes on (I don't like having stuff going on in the background when I'm setting up stuff or choosing from my Media collection). I have noticed a gigantic perpendicular yellow shape letter I on the first time slot of the list of channels picture attached. I'm not so worried about the Yellow thing but would like to get my HDMI position on the list of channels back please.

Re: Re-scanning channels
That looks like the marker for current time given the time of your post at least.
Cheers

Re: Re-scanning channels
That's exactly what it is, and it's displayed exactly how it's supposed to be displayed. It isn't necessarily over the first time slot in the EPG, e.g. if you've set "MENU>Setup>TV>EPG settings>Keep old EPG for minutes" to something other than the default "0". I use 30 minutes. Also, if you stay in the EPG for some time, the marker will also move to the right along the time scale.

When you do a scan, it sets your current bouquet to Last Scanned. You can see that bouquet named just above the top left of the EPG grid. Just set your preferred bouquet as the current one in one of the usual ways.

Re: Re-scanning channels
It doesn't address the issues that malibu91 had with doing a scan, and possibly also the problems that BBG posted about earlier in the same topic.
To scan successfully without a factory reset, malibu91 needed "Enable multiple bouquets" switched on before doing the scan, then after the scan, the old Viceland channel removed from his Favourites, the new World Movies channel added to it and then "Enable multiple bouquets" switched back off.
