F/w ver .350/.351

A recent query re f/w versions prompted this post.
This is put out there as information only.

I have a P2, and a p lite.
Both of these I had updated to version .351. Quite a way back, maybe 6 - 8 months ago. Could be even longer.

Understand that although .351 is on the website, this was not formally released, but is noted as a beta version.

I have had a couple of instances of recordings failing to complete. I.E commence recording, stop part way through.
At playback, pressing the OK button showed that the file was as expected. eg 1 hour.
But the playback ceased at say 1/2 hour.
It was as if I had had a complete reception failure. only on that recording.

The problem appeared on both devices. There did not seem to be anything that would cause this. I haven't had any cause to suspect transmission/aerial problems.

The problem was very intermittent in that the instances would be in the order of weeks apart for a once only occurrence each time. All other recordings around this time were good. Generally the failed recording was the only one scheduled for that time.

I have regressed back to .350 on both devices, about 6 weeks ago, with no failures since.
