Hi

I'm trying to upgrade firmware for my old DP P2 model.

Current firmware version is DPP2-01.07.038

Loader Version is 1.1.3.1.76

This model not listed on your download page.

Is it still possible to upgrade? If so, how?

The main problem i am trying to solve is the racing.com channel no longer has sound. I am in Tasmania.

Craig

Firmware for the old DP and FV series PVRs can be found at: http://www.beyonwiz.com.au/media/downloads/

The most recent DP-P2 firmware there is in DPP2_Firmware_30Nov2010_ver_0107350.wrp

As you can see, it's over 9 years old. There is no newer official firmware for the P2 available.

There is an 01.06.357 firmware around, but it was only ever released as a beta. It's a bit more recent, but still about 7 1/2 years old - 01 Jun 2012.

I have a copy of that it you are interested.

Unfortunately, upgrading firmware may not work but if prl's 1.06.xxx firmware works it may solve an encoding problem if it is compatible with later model P2's.

Racing.com in Melbourne is using AAC- HE v2 audio, which my P2 on 1.07.351 firmware can't decode as of now. A short recording transferred to the PC plays with sound (no sound on the P2). Its mediainfo is attached for the masochists amongst us.

This issue was discussed a while ago here. The result was Channel 7 ignored our problem.
