Network vs USB: Same file different response from BW
I've been futzing with some top-n-tail using Video Redo. I've copied the BW "record" onto the USB Disk, move the Disk to the PC, trim with VideoRedo and save back to the USB disk. From a couple of tests (and far from exhaustive) I've *noticed* that the MPGs produced can be played without p...

A Trick for VideoRedo Users with the BW files
Having just got Video Redo re-installed after the death of a machine, I updated to the latest release and had to go through and re-tweak the configuration to my liking. In so doing, I noticed a setting that I was not aware of before that suits the BW files. Under the "Enhanced Plus Features&quo...

Material recorded from PC Digital TV Cards.
My first foray in the Digital TV was a Nebula DTV card. Still going strong, but I thought it would be interesting to find what files from what cards the BW can handle. My experience is as follows. Nebula Recorded MPG's in "DVD compatible" mode - big tick, so I can view all my normal Nebula...

When you think about it, we are recording all the time (unless you have disabled time-shifting), so it seems less likely that recording is at the root of these dropouts. More likely something is cause the unit to CPU saturate and the realtime data coming out of the tuner is being dropped resulting i...

Image view : Zoom + Pan
Zoom button works when in Image viewing which is good given my crap photography, however, as far as I can tell it is central zoom only. Old DVD player allows arrow keys to move around within zoomed image / playback. This would be a plus for the BW (reprogram the duration change onto fast forward/fas...

DVD Playing side effect and no SVCD
As a new user with an old 4x3 TV I've found that the LetterBox or Pan&Scan display mode seems to be non functional. So I'm stuck in letter box, not huge issue, but annoying. Investigating the unit and reading the forums I discover the Zoom button. It works with recordings, but not live TV...agai...
