Re: USB Tuner on U4 fail

I just further tested the bluey mark 2 on both a U4 and a T2. Interesting and disappointing results.......... Both the R820T blackie and the R820T2 buley mark 1 work fine on both boxes. It seems that the bluey Mark 2 may have poorer noise rejection. Mine has a Quality score of 35% against 90% on th...

Yep, do that to check, as the boxes have differences. Does your Bluey mark 2 (R828D) work on the V2? HI I have attached U4 messages files for both the new (Bad) BlueStick ("RTL2832U R828D SDR RTL-SDR A300U") and the Old (Good) BlueStick ("DVB-T+FM+DAB 820T2 & SDR") that came...

Re: Disk accessed once a second when in Standby (Could be bad for SSD's?)

@Mr Quade. Typical SSD's will be good for around 100,000 write cycles per cell. The wear levelling will generally keep the average per cell well below that over the lifetime of an SSD. If the activity I observed is a write, then that is 86,400 a day. If the activity is writing lots of data, and give...
