You're a legend! All fixed and now let's me use DHCP again. Just keep my fingers crossed that the V2 doesn't decide to play up again.

Not quite sure what you mean by disable interface. I tried entering the IP address manually but with the subnet which I presume is 255.255.255.000, it would not let me enter the final 00. I am not too well up on networking.

Have you got 60hz set on both the U4 & IQ3? Is your splitter from Beyonwiz, I had no end of problems when I first tried recording and it turned out the splitter was faulty.

I am totally confused as that screenshot is from your path, MENU>Files/Sources, then MENU, then select Default folder. It is 1 to create a new folder but there is no dialogue box to enter the number as just pressing 1 does nothing.

As Geoff has pointed out, he had already asked me that question and they are all listed as the correct defaults. However, when I went into Sources/Files and clicked on hdd and then clicked default, it comes up with the screen in the attachment. Don't know if this sheds any light on the problem?

Did a bit of digging and found a really old USB which didn't even have enough memory to extract the file onto it after copying the ZIP so ended up with just the unzipped version and this time all went well. Thanks for all your help guys!
