The Boot OXS folder has been renamed 'My Passport for Mac' because I erased the disk to remove the password that was on it in case that was an issue (hasn't made a difference).

Issue has resolved. Appears to be the HDMI connection behind the TV. It's never been touched so not sure what the problem was but jiggling it around seems to have done the trick.

Reboot did the trick - thanks.
And I did mean the green button, not the yellow one.

I tried rebooting thought the menu options and it got stuck there for about an hour. Resorted to turning it on and off again at the wall (works for the computer!) and it doesn't seem to have done any harm.
